Annual Architecture Award of Estonia

KOKO Architects won the annual Architecture Award of Estonian Cultural Endowment of 2012 for the reconstruction of the Seaplane Harbour Hangars and Tallinn TV Tower. „Already when the hangars were being reconstructed it was clear that they will annul the chances of other architecture projects for awards in the near future. The ability of KOKO Architects to handle such a massive project so skilfully has given Tallinn a landmark that will be admired for decades to come. This is an object that stands strong in global comparison. Also the new lease of life of Tallinn TV Tower has been proven a success – something rather technical and boring has been turned into a retrofutu world that can immerse a visitor for hours of exploring,“ Tanel Veenre, Eesti Päevaleht.
